4 DAYS UNTILL ELECTION DAY

--------------------------------------------

Today was the long day of work, 8am untill 6pm. Its been rainy and dark here, and long days like that really wear you out. Nothing to exiciting happened today. The cat room out the shelter is closed due to the Feline Distemper out break in the tristate. All of those cats we know are perfectly heathy, so we are keeping the public out to reduce the risk of it being brought in. (i.e. shoes, hands, etc... anywhere they might have touched and not knowing it was there. it does living in the enviroment for up to a year)

Any who back to the point. The cat room is closed so each day instead of putting the cats back in their cages (which we normaly do for the public to come in, so there arent cats going crazy) I've been alternating, one day is a girl day, the next the boy day, which means i let them stay out and just play and be happy to destress them. So their immune systems stay high.

Oh and the other day, a message therapist came to the shelter and taught us all a technice to disstress the animals when they come to the shelter. very interesting.

I got home from work and hopped in the shower and my cat Sissy hopped in with me! It was adorable. She just kept licking up water. Shes a Pursian and plain ol' tabby mix. She is as cute as a button huh?
