Well, I suppose I should clear a few things up.
The reason I took everyone off my friend list was I was pissed off (again), and I was trying to illustrate a point. Juvenile, I know, but like I said, I was angry.
Here's what happened. Some people had said they were going to show up at my favorite bar, to make up for missing out on tawnya's birthday, and when my band played for her. Again, they did not show. I got fed up, and I got mad. In fact, I came really close to quitting the site altogether. Really close. Quite a few of you talked to me, and convinced me to stay. Unfortunately, none of those people that talked to me were the people who said they were going to show up to hang out with me.
I got fed up with spending gas money to give people rides, putting the miles on my car, and staying sober to make sure they got home okay, only to be shit on when it's my turn to host an event. If I show up to something you host because (I assume, at least) that you want me to be there, isn't it reasonable of you to expect the same? Or don't you care? I didn't realize this only went one way.
Well, apathy is a two-way street.
Therefore, I have withdrawn out of the SGSeattle group. I'm sorry, but that was the last straw.
And if you think that's bad, remember that I almost quit the site because of it.
So, I'm kind of angry right now. To the people reading this that aren't involved, thanks for convincing me to stay. To the Seattle kids- I don't think I'll be going to any more events. You obviously don't care enough to come to mine, so why should I care to come to yours?
