More good news from on high today.

My boss finally sat me down and told me they weren't hiring me permanently. This was nothing new; a coworker let me know the score yesterday.

Here's a twist for you, though.

He said that, because our team was so good, we finished ahead of schedule, and had no more work. In other words, my last day there is Friday, and not September 21st.
