Alright! I finally have a spare moment to update this damn thing. Work really sucked this weekend, but the weekend is finally over and I can relax a little.
The performance in Knoxville went very, very well. We played great, the audience loved our music, we had fun, we played, danced, ran out and mingled with the crowd... generally had a great time.
After the performance, we went out with several of my friends, and I even got together with one of my new pals from SG! Lorina lives in Knoxville and we went out to eat in the middle of the night, and checked out some of her photos in her portfolio (very nice, by the way)...
The next morning, our lead singer and I went to Saint Tattoo to get a little "work" done. Amy got a tattoo of an anchor with a heart behind it just below her panty line, and I got my septum pierced.... My brother came along, but only as a spectator... he's a little afraid of pain. I'm sure he probably had more fun watching her get the tattoo than he did watching me get my piercing... They both look nice, those guys at Saint Tattoo did a great job on both of us.
Anyway, I just got through chatting with my trombone player... Damn... I really like her a lot... her play will be over soon... but she's leaving again for school in only three months.... I guess I just need to make the best of it and really live it up while she's still here.
By the way... if anyone wants a CD or would like to hear about our future performances, just drop me a line.... mrplaid@catt.com is the email I'm using for our mailing list, booking, info, etc.... and if you're having a hot party, grand opening of a business, cookout, wedding reception, or you're just lonely and the radio just isn't keeping you company... keep us in mind!
