My brother informed me that using a rolling machine to aid in the creation of cigarettes and other items is against the "smokers' code." I'm clearly unfamiliar with this social rule, else I certainly would not have purchased this: Rizla Rolling Machine
Thanks for the advice about the printer; I purchased a Canon i860 photo printer, and it has been awesome so far.
I need to go pick up my copy of "Brave New World" today so I can reread it before school starts back up in a week. It's a great novel, but I'm not looking forward to reading it for the fifth or sixth time. I'm also struggling with the best way to keep things fresh for myself. How does a teacher "reset" when reading a novel that students will be reading for the first time. The element of suspense, while certainly still present from a literary perspective, is deadened in many ways through the rereading process, and it's very difficult to recapture that sensation of newness that the students are experiencing.
