I am now employed.
I am not proud.
I can play the game when I need to, but I'm kinda pissed that I'll be playing it for $9/hour.
At least I'll survive... barely.
Let me break down my life for you real quick, in the money language:
9 per hour times 40 hours = 360/week- about 60 in taxes.
That means I take home about 1200/month.
Rent= 250 (you're jealous)
Food=200
Transport=60
CreditCards=400
Loans= the rest (290)
That I can pay rent in one week is good. That I'm left with no spending money is dumb. Not that I drink or smoke, but I like buying toys.
Tonight is industrial dance at the Viper room, or so I'm told. I need to change out of my suit.
Old women telling me I look good today. So nice.
I'll bet that's why I hadn't been offered a job yet- men had been interviewing me. Men.
