I've enjoyed walking around with frozen hands holding a big mug of fair trade coffee.
I love riding the bus into downtown and seeing all the industrialness of the area by the river.
I had a salad for the first time in months and a vegan ruben sandwhich from Paradox.
And I also got an ear infection... which isn't so great. When I wiggle my ear, it sounds like a combination of a stretching rubber band and a dry hand rubbing against styrofoam.
I have my keyboard and my friend, but I have little privacy. I used to not desire privacy so much, but years of solitude have made me a bit more, well, solitary.
I plan to spend the day in Powells tomorrow reading magazines.

weren't you living in houston? now portland? must be a big change between the two. i grew up in beaumont. small, hickish, boring and comforting in a simple way.
