Thank you @rare for tagging me. Here are 5 facts about me.
1. I was raised in a highly conservative Lutheran church. This upbringing has helped me to be very respectful toward others, especially women. I still maintain many of my beliefs, but the views of the church contradict my own beliefs, especially in regards to sexuality.
2. As you may have ascertained from the above, sexuality plays an active role in my life. Continuing on that thought, I have a highly vivid imagination. I can often times turn myself on envisioning being with someone I really like. Sometimes, I can actually feel the softness of my partner's skin if I imagine hard enough.
3. Ever since my parents passed away, I have become very sentimental toward family. My living room is filled with old family heirlooms.
4. 30 years ago, when I was a kid, I was asked in school what I wanted to be when I grow up. Without hesitation, I said that I wanted to be a computer programmer. This was years before computers were common in households, before the internet was a thing, and before they were embedded in just about everything. 30 years later, I'm a professional software engineer (computer programmer)!
5. As far as relationships go, I feel as though my situation is fairly unique. I was engaged once, almost 20 years ago for a few months as a result of a long-distance online relationship, but it didn't work out. I'm currently in another long-distance online relationship, and it seems to be going well. In between, I've had a few friendships, some more intimate than others, but no other serious relationships.
I'm pretty awful at coming up with random facts about myself, so if you have any questions, I want to answer more! I'm an open book- ask me anything!
I would love to hear from @anabuhr, @shamandalie, @maay, @mina, @gitanna, @quinnderella, @shalil, @unita, @elmira, @lemon, @maricurly, @lovelyblasphemy, @nerwen, @lure, @foxaurus, @haub, @mikey, and @sairouse. (wow that's a lot of people, but they're all very cool people!)
