another day - another night.
about 3am this morning when i was halfway through my shift, my eyes feeling slightly drowsy and blurry... i noticed out of the corner of my eye that all the red and amber lights in the server room at the far end of my office almost looked like candlelight and how i'd never noticed that before. strange.
then i realized that i'd probably never noticed it before because the lights are supposed to be GREEN for fucks sake!
needless to say my night went downhill for an hour or so. stocked up on redbull now for tonight
also remembered today that i had meant to book tickets to see howard marks last weekend but forgot all about it.
a little equasion that i'm sure some of you will be familiar with: victorian house + winter = fucking expensive. thats right, i have to get a boiler service, my chimneys swept, need to do some work in the cellar and i think some re-pointing on the back before the weather gets really harsh. fortunately it's pretty warm in here, and usually stays that way. and also on the upside i can't wait to light my fires... something about the smell.
people have started asking me about new years already, do people plan that far ahead... guys?
