Ok so I thought Id try a different approach to this Im at work now and cant actually get to SG from here (damned websense) so Im going to write my update now and just copy it in. clever eh talk about a new way to get through the first boring hours at work. I had to leave the house at 5 this morning to be at work as it was the only time I could get a taxi
; just as well I didnt leave it any later otherwise there would have been issues!
Went for a drink with my little brother (who rents my spare bedroom) last night as we havent really seen each other in a couple of weeks. Oh and to think I nearly forgot, he rang me when I came off lunch yesterday to tell me that he opened the window in his bedroom and the hinges sheared off, leaving the window to crash to the pavement below. Miraculously the pane of glass itself was undamaged but the casing didnt fare the same way. Id be pissed off but I bought a Victorian house knowing that there were certain things about to expire and needed my attention. So anyway I called this guy whod done some work to mums house; he came round and basically said that there wouldnt be enough money in it for him to bother, ace. At the moment I have half a window missing and Im stuck in the office until god knows when this afternoon before I can think about sorting it out. Think Ill try and be a bit DIY and fix it myself. All it needs is new hinges right? Hmmm
Still it cant all be doom and gloom. Feel better now knowing I have holidays coming up decided to book some long weekends off over the next few months (dont have any plans yet really but I didnt take some holidays last year thinking they would roll over and lost them!) so I have something to look forward to. Have started to look into booking my snowboarding holiday for next year now too, still thinking the portes du soleil again. Dont know. Also have a weekend in Barcelona with some friends, then one of my best friends is getting married this time (pretty much) next year so Ive had to book that off already too as summer holiday time is like rocking horse shit around here. He and his fiance have hired a castle a castle. Talk about big time heh! Should be one great weekend :o)
Actually Ive come to the decision its best I cant get on SG from here as Id probably do next to nothing else. Im still undecided about how to start my quest of getting into SGUK need some good random parties & new faces! Spent some time browsing the groups the other night and theres way more to this site than I realised. Back of the net (any Partridge fans out there?).
So my process jobs are about to finish now so its time for me to get a coffee and do some work
