i see a desert. silent white sand from an hourgalss beyind sight. in the starlight alone, the sand almost glows. there are so many stars.
the cube falls to my feet from the sky a fallen star. had i not seen the indention in the sand i would not see the cube at all. it is not physical but unphysical, occuopying no space of its own it is negative space itself. i pickup the cube and see myself in the desert, holding the cube in my hand. i am inside of the cube i hold. hanging as if it were a penculum tied to heaven it gently spins and turns in different directions floating just above the surface of my hands.
as i focus further into the recursion of the cube i see a ladder of smooth well worn wood slowly sink into the sand.
the slow sinking of the ladder stops and a horse shiouetted against the stars comes toward me. before i can see it clearly the horse turns and gallops away.
when the horse dissappears over the stars and into the horizon i hear thunder. from the direction that the horse appeared a storm builds. it begins to rain and the desert in the cube dissolves and the once immaterial cube is now filled with rain.
the storm eventually subsides and there is a lone grey rose suspended in the raincube.
i release the cube and it dips as if bowing to me and floats back to its home in the stars.
