now that the national do not call registry is on hold i can only imagine what could happen if it gets stopped entirely. the ftc could just sell back the numbers and make some good quid on the sly. punishment for those who would defy the telemarketing gods.
it is such serious bullshit that why do i have to put up with advertisments for shit i wil never want or need on tv, outside, my email, through instant messages, in the mail, on the radio, film product placement, and efverything else short of being crammed down my throat and beamed into my thoughts.
shame on you marketing community.
addendum- i got my MSI tickets today. i took the train to avoid the really bad traffic. the place i went to has the best goddamn tom waits selection in the metroplex so i got this tribute album with a catharsis-inducing version of 'ruby's arms' by frente! it also includes 'step right up' as preformed by violent femmes plus some really gross covers of 'ol' 55' and 'martha.'
SUPER BONUS: I GOT A WESLEY WILLIS BUTTON. HEADBUTT CITY, BABY!!
