there are a few things in this world that make my life truly worth living..

My fiance - the love of my life. Out of the blue she picked up a broken mirror and glued the shards and slivers together at the risk of possibility of cutting her hands and slitting her writs she sacrificed her well being for mine. Dripping with blood she smiled at me risking life and limb and told me everything would be okay.

She loves me so much that she flew half way across the country for me just to tell me that she loved me. She had my undyring devotion from that moment on. Truth be told, I was already in love with her, and I fall in love with her again every single day. I can't believe that love like this actually exists.

For the last four years I felt like my life was over. I can't believe it, my story is just getting started. I am welcoming the end of the prologue and the beginning of chapter 1 all the way until "happily ever after"

music is another thing I can't live withough. it reminds me of the following quote:

"Without music, life would be a mistake." -Friedrich Nietzsche

Don't believe me? Listen to your favorite album on headphones. Don't have a favorite album? - Get one. To me this art form serves as a tunnel to stare directly in the eyes of the higher power whose exsistence challenges my theological ideas of the universe. From something intimate like Iron and Wine, to anything that induces bleeding eardrums like Mogwai are moments of beauty amidst choas.

Music reminds me of love in a lot of ways. Music has changed, and enhanced my view of the world around me. When I was young "rock and roll" was the devils music. Once I finally found my muse at the age of 16 I was obsessed. Can you imagine discovering Pink Floyd, Smashing Pumpkins, Neil Young, Nirvana, Nine Inch Nails, The Violent Femmes, The Beatles!!!, Jimi Hendrix, Beastie Boys, and Beck in the same month? I did, and I now know how people get addicted to drugs. Your told that something is bad for you and for a moment you feel so good ingesting it you believe everything you were told before is a lie.. unlike drugs music has never adversly affected my life.

Music amplifies the heart. If the heart is the guitar then the mouth is the loudspeaker. The smallest of moments shared between two people can have the biggest impact on you in profound ways. In the way that a whisper can feel like a scream. The way a space of white noise can feel like a sonic blase.

Love is another one of those things where I was given plenty of warnings.. unfortunately this was after I discovered music so I assumed everyone was lying. I had my hearbroken, and even got to the point to refuse that it exsisted.

My point, and I do have one is that whether its love or music. Whether you have something that you are passionate about has either been love at first kiss, or you gave up on something because it felt impossible.

I am hear to tell you that. I came, I saw, and it knocked me off my ass.. be ready its out there I promise. I thought nothing in my life could replace my fanatic devotion to my music. My devout passion for music still exsists, and in falling in love with my future-wife I came to realize that I had no idea what passion was. just don't tell music, I don't want her getting jealous.
