I saw the most intense movie called Suicide Club. The opening shot is of 54 Japanese shool girls commiting mass suicide by jumping in front of a subway train. It was a meditation on the evils mass media, pop culture, loss of innocence, violence and rebirth. The movie relied heavily on shocking imagery, while interlaced with some subtle themes.
