I read your post to the boards and here is my response:
I'm really sorry to hear that your date didn't go well. Sounds like she was a bitch anyway, and that's not the kind of girl that you want to be with. Here's what I have learned about dating: be yourself. If you have confidence in yourself and manners (ie you are a gentleman) than you will find good people to date and be with.
Example: I recently met a really really nice guy and he wanted some help moving so I gave him my phone number because I wanted to help out. This was totally non sexual on my end, i wasn't even looking. So i helped him move and then I figured I'd never hear from him again because that's how things work with me. BUT to my surprise, he called me the next day and wanted to hang out. We later talked about how he considered waiting to call but realized that wasnt' his style. And I was so thankful for that. We have seen each other a few times since... my best friend from high school actually complimented him on being able to keep up with my humour and character. Just have fun.
People in your life usually pop up when you least expect it.
Thank you for the kind words and advice! I am making myself feel better tonight by downloading an "evaluation" copy of linkin park's meteora. I have to go on a short road trip tuesday and need some new tunes.

Hope that made sense.
