Killing off Wash made the death more shocking. Zoe is a soldier, one of the only true frighters of the crew; so if she goes down in battle it would have been more expected. Wash's death comes out of nowhere. Hence the brilliance of Joss Whedon. When he kills characters he really goes for the heart.

I woke up this morning and made one of the poorest decisions in my life...

Watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind for the first time in almost a year.

Watching that I remembered how good life could be, and how much I sometimes... somewhat often... regret leaving behind everything I had.

They've got a Kawai K5000W for $695, prolly knock em donw to $550. Synth-action keys but one of the best you can get, and the synthesis engine is phenomenal. The pads ... ah, the pads ... so sweet.
