How difficult is it to find Klonipin in this town? I didn't sleep again last night, so I decided to try and find a doctor that would prescribe something to relax. If I'm lucky, I can see one in 2 weeks. Joy. You know California has a ton of faults, but I did at least get health care in a timely manner.
I really need to start applying for jobs in other states. Its a good way out of here and I've been looking for a job in Vegas for a year now. I have my degree and my various job experience, but I don't know the right people. I think I've been on countless interivews and each time its the same story, we gave the job to our buddy or you don't have actual job experience in video editing. Well, no I don't and neither did you when you graduated from college. Then, when I give up on the arty jobs and apply for a management HR position (what my previous job experience is in) I get told that I have the right experience but they do not like the fact that I have a degree in film and digital media. One interviewer actually told me I should take my degree off my resume if I expected to get work. Oi vey.
On a lighter note, my EP is getting closer to being finished. I need to get the songs mastered and what not. The hardest part for me is the cd art. I love to do graphics and photomanipulation, but I have no clue how to format it for a cd cover. I've looked into Oasis for distribution, but their graphic art templates are baffling to me. I really hope I can get some sleep tonight, because I want to go driving with Jesse and capture more the sky as of late. There have been some amazing sunsets and cloud formations.
I also need to find people who would be willing to be in a music video for one of my songs. I don't know very many "acting" type people..well I barely know anyone here at all. Hopefully, something will come together though, even if I have to get creative editing a bunch of clouds and the side of Jesse's face as he turns away from the camera.
