random smatterings today:
first and foresmost, GO PATS! i can't wait to see this city after the game today...i don't want to get ahead of myself, of course, but i have a damn good feeling. i was living in NYC when they won it in 2002 and, of course, my red sox have boken my heart since i was 5...it's gotta feel damn good to be here champions.
roommate hunting sucks. one roommate who moved in in september has just decided to break the lease and move back home with his parents in texas, leaving my other roommate and i high and dry. and it is quite possibly THE WORST time to being doing this. i have exams starting in less than a week (strange school schedule, yes). and these are hugely, hugely important grades that i cannot slack on for anything. and it pisses me the hell off that people make these appointments to come see the place and then just NEVER SHOW UP. or call at the time they're supposed to be there can say they aren't going to come. WHAT THE FUCK - am i the only one who thinks that making an appointment translates into actually keeping it? or is that some sort of outdated sense of responsibility?
my crush is going to be at the superbowl party today - granted, i see him most every day, but things tend to go differently between us when there is no school and vast quantities of alcohol involved....
see Big Fish. just...see it.
i am in the midst of planning a big fuckin birthday party for myself at the end of the month...you are all invited if you want to make the trip. i don't want presents, just kisses.
study time before the game. goooooo contracts!
