So spent the weekend with the extended family. Love them to bits but.... I kinda think a few of my cousins are train wrecks.
My 24 year old cousin has moved in with her 49 year old boyfriend. this wouldn't bother me so much if they hadn't been dating on and off for the last 8 years. She was 16 he was 41 when they first were together. He was a friend of her uncle's. Why did her father not stop this back when she was 16? Or just wait the 2 years until she was 18. Age doesn't really mean a whole lot when it comes to consenting adults, but I remember how immature i was well into my 20's. I don't think she's mature enough to be in this kind of relationship.
My 19 year old cousin is pregnant with her second baby. This wouldn't bother me so much if her first child's father wasn't going to be in prison for the next 2-5 years. She also went on about how he would trade drugs for groceries when she was pregnant and that she had a crack head pull a gun on her and her new born when she couldn't provide crack to a hooker when she showed up at her door.

Wow I'm more concerned with the pregnant one. It's hard when family acts crazy with their decisions. Trust me, I know. My sister was engaged before she was even in a "relationship" with this guy. But I'm the only one who sees anything wrong with it. I guess we just have to sigh and hope everything turns out well. Right?

I'm very concerned for the pregnant one but everyone else has kinda waved it off. There was no mention of this one's father either. Just sad for her babies.
