Today was relaxed. I laid on the couch for a long time. I watched Three Amigos. I haven't seen it in a while. I also so a movie called Mafia, I was laughing pretty hard. It was kind of cheesy, but over all I gave it a few kudos.
I cleaned my apartment really good. It's funny, my roommate lived here by himself while I was in Maryland. He always brags about how clean he kept the place. I found a DUSTY chip under the shelf in our kitchen. It wasn't in plain view, but if you were cleaning you would see it. Haha. I thought about laying it on the table. He hasn't been home all weekend, I kinda miss him. Being alone has been great though.
I went and had dinner with a friend tonight. We had a blast. We met a lady at Wal Greens and had the following conversation:
Me: "Hey Dea, don't you think I should get some nicorette?"
Dea: " Haha, probably."
Me: " I hear that people end up addicted to the gum and it's more expensive than cigarettes..."
Check Out Lady: " OH MY GOD, I heard that TOO!!! Why??"
Me: "Um, I don't know."
Check Out Lady: " You don't know why it's more expensive?"
Me: "No, not really."
Check Out Lady: " I heard it was bad for you, is that true?"
Me: "Yeah it rots your teeth out... smoking is better."
Check Out Lady: " Yeah I started smoking when I was 10... I really picked up the habit when I was 16... (extremely long pause, atleast 30 seconds) It's HAAAAAARD to quit."
Me and Dea nod our heads and leave. This ladies voice was an octave above Sharon from Will & Grace. Ear shattering. She was crazy, but I did imitate her and this was entertaining for a few minutes at least.
We also checked out craigslist personals, which I make a habit of at least once a week. Everyone should check it out, it is hilarious.
I'm home now, drinking hot chocolate, wishing I were sleepy so I could go to bed. I have to work tomorrow and I need my REST!
My job is ridiculous. I work at a Medical Spa. I was hired as a spa coordinator. I basically am trying to teach the people who work there how to do their job (I guess). So my boss wants me to shadow each person who works there and critique their performance, even HER. So tomorrow, I am following her around while she works, make notes, and at the end of all the "shadowings", I get to tell everyone why they suck and what they should do to be better. How cool is this? I get paid for this.
