Today is an idiot.
I wake up this morning and I feel like my throat has let Satan in. It hurts so bad, and I feel icky all over. Work called me, they said there was a massage I needed to come in and do. When I heard this, I sighed a little moan... but nothing came out. So I tried to say something.... nothing. Then I tried to say "Great..." but all that came out was a weird raspy sound.
So instead of calling my work, I emailed my best friend who works there. I figure if I don't even know what the hell I'm saying they sure won't. I told her that I couldn't really talk, but I'd be there for the massage. She insisted that I call and let them hear me talk. I told her I'd rather not, it really hurts, and you can't understand me. She said the manager said I had no choice. So I'm assuming they think I'm lying. Assholes.
I call, weird noises are coming out, then the manager is like " Oh my gosh, I am so sorry, don't worry about today."
WHAT THE FUCK? My email wasn't good enough? Why would I not want to make money?
I really hate it when people think you are lying. I have better things to do with my time, like set things on fire.
Lots of other things happened but that was the major chaos of the day. I'll spare everyone the other details.
