Sooooo....I went for that interview. I walk in and there are a few women filling out papers...all dressed nicely...with resumes in their hands...hmmmm...
The girl that walks in in front of me goes to the desk and says "Im here for the interview." Almost before she even has the sentence out of her mouth the dumb homely lookin bitch at the desk says "I know. I know exactly why your here." That should have been my cue. From the moment I walked in I didnt like it. It was not the kind of doctor office Id go to let alone work in but I stayed to feel it out bc Ive never been to a chiropractic office before so I dont know if casual is ok bc its a type of active medicine. I could only see part of the office and only a few people there, I thought they were patients there...they werent. Had I known that, again, Id have walked out. They sat us all down and showed us a power point presentation. It was informative but the dumb ugly lady from the front was giving it bc the dr was getting over a cold so his voice was shot. Wow. Thats all I have to say about her. It was like a bunch of dirty hippies wearing bad 80's clothes from a thrift store. Im not hating the 2nd hand clothes cause I am an avid buyer but I try to stay out of the 80's and 90's era...just not a high point in fashion history. The one guy was literally dirty. I dont know if he worked there but he was hanging around like he was some kind of help there. The other guy had long hair on top of his head but it was shaved from his ears down all the way around his head and had on a tie dyed shirt with some faded, too short, dingy, JNCO jeans on. She had shoulder length brown frizzy hair with huge Sally Jesse Raphael glasses on, a purple long sleeve poofy shouldered sweater and too tight waist high, like touching your rib cage, jeans on. I felt over dressed in my black quarter sleeve shirt with nice grey pants on. I even took out my piercings out, to try to be professional cause its a dr office you know. I could have walked up in there with my damn face tattooed and eye lids pierced and been fine...
Waste of an hour and half of my life.
Was worth going just to know that I didnt pass up the opportunity but damn...

Personally, I love the area. I'm not supposed to talk about the job though, but check the journal entry I just posted on it for an itty bit more detail.
