Howdy y'all,
It's been a crazy few weeks. Graduation was a bit surreal. Less than a year ago I was sitting in a cubicle plotting my escape. As much as I can't believe how much I've accomplished in the past year, I also can't believe it's over. Somehow I managed to pull a 3.9 average. Not too shabby, eh?
Not too many people can say that their graduation ended with a Jai Ho dance mob.

Grad dance. One of these gals I love, the other is the crazy ass ho that stole my work.

After graduating I had to finish packing up my apartment and get the hell out. So it was one long-ass day. Just as I was pulling out of Providence I got a call from my sister. Flash tornadoes hit my hometown. All the roads around my parent's house were out and she couldn't reach them via phone. When I got there all of the roads were still blocked, but everyone was okay. It would have been nice for my parents to, I dunno, call and warn us, but apparently they decided to take a nap instead.
The next day I drove back to clean up my old apartment and return the keys. I couldn't get in because someone had called in a bomb threat to the building behind mine. What a crazy fucking weekend.

A couple of days later I got a call asking me to come down to Maryland for an orientation meeting about my trip to Nicaragua. While it was nice to meet my travel companions, it really wasn't worth a $200 flight and an entire day spent in transit. Thanks a million times to Speranza for translating my intro into Spanish!

Killing time in North Station on the way home from Baltimore.
Life continues to be odd.
