Oh wow, my family reunion is comming up soon! Yay! Like 2 days! lol YAY! I'm excited. Can you tell? So I have a sad story. I call it "RIP Cortell". It was a hot day. People were sweaty and disgruntled by any sort of wait they had to endure. A girl in her van, feeling very pleasant with the air conditioner on, decided to visit her dear ol mother at her work. The young woman, Dana, slowly came to a stop as you should at a stop sign. She spied with her little eye a black cockerspaniel laying on the sidewalk with several men and woman hunched over, just staring at the creature. Dana rolled her window down and bellowed out (being the concerned one for animals she was) "Is that dog ok?" A woman stood up, "No, it was hit by a car." Dana immediatly pulled over and ran over to the hurted canine. She patted him lightly. Her brow furrowed up in concern. "Has anyone called someone for help?" The same woman who has spoken before spoke out, "Oh, no, I'm the owner. We are waiting for him to get up or die." Dana persed her lips together thinking "I can't let this poor dog lay here and suffer!" So she brought her van around and opened the side door. "Let's get him to the vet." The woman smiled "Oh are you sure???" Dana nodded vigorusly, "Oh yes, let's go!" We load up the poor suffering pet and head out. "What is his name?" The good samaritan asked. "Cortell" The woman replied. Within minutes of careful driving, they arrived at the vet. Dana rushed inside and grabbed the first vet tech around. Dana explained what had happend and immediatly the vet ran out with a stethascope and entered the van. As soon as the vet placed her hands on the poor pooch, he took his last breath and died. The doctor shook her head and frowned, "I'm sorry, he's gone." Dana's eyes welled up. What a shame. She felt so badly. Maybe if she would have driven faster? Or what if there was a short cut she could have taken? Dana was distraught. She tried comforting the owner as she drove her home, thankfully the owner wasn't too attatched. The whole thing just broke Dana's heart that day.
Okay, yeah that was a true story. How sad!!! It really sucked!!! >.<
