It's beginning to look a lot like ....
I won't even say it. Getting snow in my part of the world today. Thankfully it has yet to start and I can sit and enjoy my morning coffee in peace while my lovely little doggy snuggles up beside me. She really isnt a morning person.
As Xmas approaches I start to dread it more and more. I've never been a fan of xmas, wasnt fun when I was little with fighting parents and having to watch my Mother stress over money, etc. These days I prefer to forget about the whole thing and just plan for New Years eve. As depressing as it might sound I spent last xmas alone in my apartment with a bottle of vodka and watched movies all day (I'm not an alcoholic hermit I swear!)
I know it sounds dumb to say I wish it was more about visiting family and having a good time than presents but truly I do wish it was like that. This year I literally won't be able to buy hardly any gifts as I've been renovating my home and getting it zombie apocalypse ready (no joke) and those kind of renos arent cheap!! To be fair no kind of reno's are cheap.
Suppose thats it for now, sorry for sounding like a grinch but sadly, I am one! Hope everyones Wednesday is lovely
