This Friday
The Gallery Presents a "Rock Da World Special"
As The Gallerys 10th Birthday celebrations continue to dominate the London club scene with a series of specially themed events, this Friday 15th April - The Gallery dedicates a night to its Rock Da World sideshow and an evening with some major European players and some tasty homegrown talent.
Call it the mother of all soundclashes if you will. A dancefloor battle between the Guitars and the Machines. Rock Vs House. Whose side are you on? Choose your corner wisely and let the music do the rest. Getting you right in the thick of things early on is Timo Maas, who warms up for his Ibiza residency later on in the summer with a dirty 3 Hour workout of all things Wet N Hard. When Timo played just after the summer last year, his extended set was one of the finest we had heard throughout 2004. Deep, dubby, techy and electronic in all the right places roll on Friday night we say!! Fellow German Tomcraft will be next with his own electro assault, before the techno beats are left in the more than capable hands of European hero Marko Nastic. Andy Bagguley keeps the trance heads happy at the end of the night, with BDK on the decks first.
Over in T2, the punky Rock Da World sounds take full affect with a live set from Y.O.B aka Youth of Britain. This is Daniele Davolis new band and hotly tipped for big things in 2005. Having supported The Prodigy on their UK Tour last year, Y.O.B have the brashness to be the next Audio Bullies or The Streets and we love em hear at Gallery HQ. Davoli also DJs, as does the ever excellent Electrictease don Tim Healey. Theres also room to squeeze in X-FMs Eddie Temple-Morris, whilst the extraordinarily soothing sounds of Matthew Glamores Siren Suite will entice you away to a more calming world of classical extremes up in the VIP Room.
Music... sweet music...
touches my soul...

Dear boys...
Please,
refrain from showing me photos of your flexed abs reflected in the mirror...
it is yucky and ruins my day.
