today i got a real rose as a compliment for the International Women Day. it was the first time in years, the others used to be plastic flowers with a chocolate. it took me by surprise.

but i’m not the type to like roses, chocolates or other trinkets supposed to please us this day, while in all the other we are still being treated as inferior.

so what i wish we got on this date was respect, and less fear of walking on the streets at night. not flowers, just the bare minimum.

be better men, folks. and raise better men too. that will build a better society for all of us 💖
