My thoughts this morning -
"wow.. remember exxon valdez?"
For those of you who were too young to remember - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exxon_Valdez_oil_spill
My elementary school had a rally to donate dish soap and tooth brushes to help people clean up the dying animals, sea birds and marine habitat. This single disaster was my turning point on how I view the environment and nature.. all it took was a picture like this:
to change me forever. Even to this day, I will pick up other peoples trash, especially 6 pack rings and break apart all of the rings before throwing it in the trash.
Please don't litter, and if you see or use a 6 pack ring, break all the loops in it.
It's such a small silly thing we can do, but it's better than ignoring it.

The good thing that some companies are doing now, is making the rings "tearaway" so they rip open as you take the can out. Of course, the best option is NOT to make them at all.
