Hmm well....I guess it depends on what you like to do....There are a couple restaraunts that are very uniquely Pittsburgh. There's Primanti Brothers: sandwichs on thick Italian bread that have french fries and/or coleslaw on them. And then there's The O, which is this totally ghetto ass restaurant with THE best fries you'll ever have (a size small will feed like 6 people. Seriously.) and super cheap 40s. And there's a really good Chinese/vegetarian place in Squirrel Hill called the Hunan Garden.
As for other stuff, the Andy Warhol museum is totally rad. There's an amazing black and white photobooth in the basement. The South Side is a cool place to go for bars/coffeeshops/a little shopping.
