i went to work today for the first time in ages. mending a bit more.

i bought postal service vinyl today. i am uberglad.

other than that, not much is new. i hung out with shawn's grandma for a couple of hours today. we chatted and laughed and generally were happy. it's nice to have her around, really. she's so kindhearted. seeing as i grew up so far away from my whole family.. and now that both my grandmas have passed.. she's really nice to have around. even if she's not my grandma..

i showed shawn what's what tonight. it was fun.

i also found out that someone else in the city has a dress that i thought no one else had. worst part is she's in one of those typical 'competition' type roles in my life. i got that dress in vancouver, and I HAD IT FIRST. whatever, it looks a billion times better on me anyway... and it matches my tattoo. which she doesnt have (thank god). so it's super obvious that i'm better than her. end of story. yes i'm competitive. no it doesnt really matter that much to me.
