QUEENSTOWNS FLOODING!

Haha there were flood warnings yestrday and I was on my way home from uni (6.15) when I saw all these people on the streets. They were filling up sand bags to put against all the buildings so they dont flood.
Everyone was stresssing out!!!!!!!!!!!!
So I jumped out of the car whilst still in my uniform (business heals, fitted skirt and white blouse)
And grabed a shovel.
Man it was funny! There were news cameras and everything.
The owners of the shops were so thankfull they braught us dinner and drinks after.
I loved helping out! It gave me such a good feeling!
Although my backs killing me for it and ive ruined my shoes and my uniform is still wet but
I loved it!
Shows how nice people really are when it comes to disasters! THere was such a good turn out. And Mcdonalds even offered us free food for helping out. Good on ya maccas. Haha
