you know every once in awhile i get this urge to apply to suicidegirls, and its happening again. i've never taken nude photos before, and im really not sure how i would feel about being nude on the internet, but it looks so glamorous.

Well, it all comes down to how you feel. If you're comfortable with the idea that lots of people the world over could see you on here, then give it a couple weeks or months. If you still feel the same way after that, give it a shot. If at that time you still have any reservations whatsoever, just back down; there's no shame in that. You can always do it at a later date if you've fully convinced yourself and decided.
