ahh well, i tried steve...sorry.
so, went to ozzfest yesterday. the majority of it was pretty good, but the rest of it sucked my ass. we'll start with the good...second stage was fucking amazing. you couldnt leave the stage to go look at tshirts because as soon as the band you wanted to see was done, another band you wanted to see would start. haha. i love that. devil driver, lacuna coil, slipknot, and otep were probably my faves to watch because they sounded great, lamb of god had a lot of set problems. you couldnt even hear the guitars because the toms and the bass guitar were up so loud. horrible. bleeding through was awesome, and brandon DOES sound good live, so all the fuckers who said he doesnt can fuck off and buy a ticket. all the second stage bands in general did an awesome job....but....the highlight of all of ozzfest was this: I MET DEZ FAFARA AND I GOT A FUCKING HUG! for those who dont already know, Dez has been one of my idols since i was young. he's always been someone i've looked up to, and i love what he has to say. getting a hug after i poured my heart out to him was unbelievable. im so happy
sometimes when you think someone is grand and you meet them and they turn out to be a douche, it breaks your heart, but i was definitely not disappointed.
oh, and to the fuckfaces who had to set up their tents in the middle of center stage so that none of us shorties could see....i hope you choke.
all around, fun show, and i already miss it.
