hmm. so after talking to a friend last night about lack of freedom in the work place and all that whoredom, she told me to try getting a job at Torrid. I had been trying to get employment at Hot Topic because they are the only place around here for a young girl to work and still have any individuality, but they only hire in the summer and winter, and god dammit we're just entering spring. so i went up to Torrid today. I realize it's a plus size store and i'm definitely a tiny little girl, but i figure, hey, they'll probably still hire me and i still get the benefits of coming into work looking however i damn well please. So i fill out the app and the lovely lady at the desk tells me she'll call me soon. this is the first "i'll give you a call" i've received yet. so my hopes are high.
