The Philly Tattoo Convention was, in brief... sexy heavily tattooed mob mayhem! The center was overcapacity, swarmed with throngs of yummy boys with sexy throat tats, full sleeves... tight jeans... and girls... oh the girls.... Lord it was hard to control myself!
My man Gene Coffey was there doing some killer work at the Tattoo Culture booth.
And my gal Marissa was there for her blog, Needles and Sins.
No, I didn't leave with any fresh Ink. The convention was so packed even people with appointments were turned away at the door. The variety of true ARTISTS there blew my mind! I frollicked around with my gal Kristen and gazed at some excellent drawings, sculptures and prints by some amazing tattooists from all over the country, whom I've never had the pleasure to meet before.
Rather than buy a shop or convention t-shirt or some other swag, I decided to buy some art for my collection. And when I saw this piece... I knew... I HAD TO HAVE IT. This just screamed me - by a small town tattooist from NC. I think you can see why
Rather than "tick tock" it goes "dick cock"
I was $5 short though, having snuck in and saved my $20 entry fee... but my BFF said I could earn that extra $5 the hard way.....
