I got home from work last night and saw that a baby bird had fallen out of tree.

When I went back out to my car to get something I saw it was still alive kicking on it's back. I bent down and saw it trying very hard to speek but couldn't get it out.

I ran and got an old pillow case and picked...

Yes, please get well soon. Wishing you positive vibes and universal tidings on finding a new job.

Take care. smile

That puppy was too much work for me. I'm just not the 24/7 caregiver type, I guess. I think a nice vasectomy is in my future, because I'm pretty sure you can't just give kids away when you've had enough.

I'm not sure what you mean about the pictures. Do you have trouble uploading them?

Terribly busy last few days … but it feels good to make to the computer .
I saw David Bowie last in concert. Truly fucking amazing . He opened with my favorite song ‘Rebel Rebel’ which was sort of redone and sounded AMAZING. Other highlights where ‘The Man Who Sold The World’ and a very jazzed up ‘China Girl’…. But I could go on ....

I was at Bowie as well! He's got some kinf of cool that most of us can't touch. It's just so natuaral. His bands are always TIGHT because of that vibe! For me Heros was excellent, Station to Station and Fashion!

I also think it ws the best live sound production I've heared in a while.

Tell me about this video...I'm doing some independant film sound/ music stuff but I'm still lost.
ARRR!!!
sgmonotony:
You must be busy.......shit you havent updated in a while.
Bowie sounds like it was cool, glad you enjoyed it.
More hours=more money
good formula
glad your passion for the video is burning.

My birthday is in 2 months and I'm thinking back to when I turned 10... everyone was making such a big deal about me being in the "two digits" and my thoughts on that where 'Yeah and I'll probably die in the two digits.'

Morbid child ? Yes ... but I think it was more than that. I think I just realized that I was...

Upon my arrival to work today I stepped out of the car only to find orange peels and some kind of white substance on the sidewalk. How’s that for a Monday?

Also today my chest feels like a baby is sitting on it. Which is causing this adorable wheezing and cough ….. Those who have lived in the mid-west can relate I’m sure .. but...

Feeling the pain....
I just can't figure out whats worse, the unpredictable climate or the allergies that have me rubbing my nose raw.

I've come to the conclusion that I need a bubble if I am to stay here. blackeyed

Here in the northeast things are no better. 80F Friday April 30
and then 32 F Thursday AM.
I ordered Revolting Cocks off Amazon based on your recommendation.
I didnt see the relevance of the orange peels and white substance. Your style of journaling is engaging.
I still hope to chat with you again, I enjoyed that very much.

I think you will find as time goes on that the ultimate biggrin pleasure is home on a Friday night, letting it all pass by
I have not heard Revolting Cocks, I will put them on the list.
A recommendation for you Killing Joke- Killing Joke with the clown on the cover(there are two self titled)
arch_stanton:
Yes I have heard the Cocks version of Do Ya Thing I'm Sexy.
The video was a hoot.

Have you seen the film "Rivers Edge". It's my favourite film featuring your current crush, Crispin Glover.

The Black Forest came out 2 weeks ago - it's sold out in a lot of stores, but I understand Image (or Diamond, to be specific) still have some in the warehouse - so if your local store is out of stock, they can still order you a copy. I'd love to hear what you think of it!

The Vampirella issue is out now, too. There's a very Homer Simpson-esque moment in the interview I think will make you chortle.

BTW, Cineman and I were talking about you and your ambition during drinks tonight -- and how rockin it is that you manage to stay busy in the industry in STL. That takes a lot of energy and drive!

Well today I slept off my icky night ...
Work went way over and was extremely stress filled. To make matters worse it's not even the job I like ... it's my crapy "This makes money so I do it" job frown But it was nouthing a little chunky monkey and about 10 episodes of the simpson's couldn't fix wink Dear lord I need a night out...

Great post in the Lounge! I am impressed by your drive - very cool.

You will succeed like mad, I can guarantee you. Passion like yours can't be taught - and in the long run it cannot fail, either.

Cheers. smile
anticus:
I must agree with Cine - I was also guided here by your passionate post in the Lounge! You are also wise enough to know that the Simpsons can cure most anything!

I'm sure the music clubs never knew what hit 'em!

What is it about kids ?

I think they just might be evil

Miss Forty Five
sgmonotony:
They are not evil.
They have no idea what they are "supposed" to do.
So they do whatever they feel like.
Remind you of anyone? smile
amelia:
They may not be evil per say but they know where evil is..I miss the gateway city ..be safe there ...and enjoy the ride.. smile

Today was a great day in the world of "Jessie grows up" ... My paycheck was to small to cover the rent and I stoped talking to my last girlfriend ... do any of you remember the moment when you first grew up ?

For me it was when my friend and brother of 10 years died in a car fire .. it's been down...

I thought i would reference your journal and then shut the machine down.
Your comment life is tragic and beautiful i think is very prescient.
I used to wonder why things went wrong in my life, I expected things to go well and was always disappointed when they didnt.
I have since realized that thinks generally dont go so well, so when i have a minor joy , I dwell on it , not the things that have gone wrong. A small joy like our interaction tonight Im realizing is the essential essence of life.
I dwell on those small joys now, and the tragic seems less tragic. I offer this for consideration as you continue your journey

(prescient adj : perceiving the significance of events before they occur)
