Whew. One more week out to sea starting tomorrow. My home is really starting to feel like a hotel. Or a place where I can do laundry, get a beer, sleep and have my life's worth affirmed by a little person who calls me Mommy and demands stories. But today we read about Gibbons and other mokeys and apes with red butts. Parenthood rocks.

Took little man to see March of the Penguins yesterday. WoW! So good. heartbreaking and beautiful and cute. I never knew that much about penguins. But I think the hubby and I got more out of it than the boy. If you're a discovery channel junkie like me, go see it. (And it doesn't hurt that I could lisen to Morgan Freeman talk all day...)...
