It's probably about time to update, much to my displeasure. It's a bit depressing to start over after three pages of lovely birthday messages. Thank you all, by the way. You've filled me with SG love.
My birthday was great, I didn't really have any plans so it was very relaxed and nice. Miss Kat woke me up at about 6am to give me presents before she went off to work, god bless her. She had already fixed up my box brownie so that I could actually take photos with it so I was kind of surprised when she brought out a pile of presents including a beautiful copy of Gray's Anatomy, a hand made pin cushion and a framed Bikini Kill print. Hurray!
After she went off to work I just pottered about for a bit and made myself some muffins. It's a long standing tradition in my family that we have raspberry and white choc muffins on special occasions, birthdays, Christmas, you name it, and since I couldn't get round to my parents in the morning I had to make them for myself. It's less tragic than it sounds, really, and they were excellent. Even if I did burn my tongue on hot raspberry being over eager.
So yeah, muffins and a bit of drawing in the morning and then I went off to meet up with a friend of mine who makes me grin after that. We mucked around and went exploring lonely corners in the city for a couple of hours until he had to go to work and I meandered home.
It's all quite mundane to write down but I had such a beautiful day and it was topped by dinner out with my family, who I hadn't seen for ages. Good food, margueritas and good company, I've said it before but that is really all I need to make me very happy. I haven't stopped grinning for a couple of days now and I've still got the meet on Saturday to go. Cant wait, though my cheeks might break!
Anyway, enough about me, how are you?

Oh yeah, I hope your cheeks haven't broken - I'm guessing that would REALLY hurt.
