there are these ads on tv at the moment where some guy rips out his vocal cords yelling at me for 90 seconds about cheap crappy clothing. they're very very annoying.
on a less yelly note. i think i may have had one of my favorite days of the year today. its been wonderful. starting from midnight - i went out for a couple of drinks and bumped into _rob_ and then 'rudely left without saying goodbye' (i couldnt find you, honest!), had a fish finger sandwich when i got home, went to bed, woke up and went to the auction for an adorable house just near the rosemount with my dad, bought it (well, he did
), had coffee and looked at books in leederville, sat in the sun and read, had a nap and now i'm going out to see the ever delightful SG folks. things dont get much better than that, really. glee!
this is the house, its so cute it makes me want to throw up.
continued: ok, so lets make that my favorite weekend of the year. the SG meet kicked arse and i got to hang around with the gang and dance (every now and then), we abused a strange beige-coated man, ran into more SG folk, i saw a bunch of my other friends, drank a lot of pints, ate babs...everything you need for an awesome night out. i think i might be seriously in love with all the perth SG people. swoon!
added to that, i managed to wake up sunday feeling mostly alive (well, with the help of a pot of tea and scrambled eggs with miss kat) and spent the day reading, napping and baking cupcakes. then off to my parent's for dinner, discussions of house renovations and cupcakes (eating not discussing).
all in all a very successful weekend. i am so happy
