I didn't want to update until I had something good to say. Almost two weeks of me complaining about the weather is just boring but I have yet to acquire much good news to tell you. The short of it is that things have taken a turn for the trying of late.

I was 'downsized' from my job (too many staff and not enough shifts) which is great for spare time but oh so lame when it comes to me having money, Tafe is becoming full on and the lecturers are being mean (a relatively new development and a very unwelcome one), I'm not sleeping properly because I'm all stressed, I'm being mean to Kat for the same reason so I feel like a beastly girlfriend and to make it all sound even more like a self-pitying country song, my dog is old and dying. Dramatic, no?

I know that it will all pass soon enough but it's all a bit overwhelming at the moment. You know that feeling when your mind is racing and all you can do is write it down to clear your head? I seem to have it all the time; my pile of lists is growing steadily.

Anyway, it'll be fine. It always works out in the end. In the meantime, go look at Natalie Portman swearing (and being hot). *swoon*
