We just got back from Cheyenne Wyoming on Monday afternoon. We saw wonderful snow on Saturday night and woke up to enough to make snowballs with on Sunday morning. It was so windy and cold! The baby has a little cold now from the weather. She also came back with a bum nose. She took a little spill, off the bed (I know, awful), and got rug burn on her nose.
So wanna hear a funny story about my son? We wake up on Sunday morning in Cheyenne and we looked out the window and saw the snow. He tells me "Mom, I'm hungry." Since we were staying on base we had a kitchen and had stocked up on a few easy things for breakfast. But he's pretty picky, so I asked if he wanted a bowl of cereal. "No Mom," he replies. "I'm hungry for snow!" It wasn't long after this we got dressed to go play in the snow. Well, the twins and I did. It was wonderful to have that experience with the kids. But, we totally forgot to make snow angels!!!! How did I forget that????????
It was a wonderful trip, visiting the sis and the nephew and the bro-in-law. I must say though, that Denver airport sucks balls. Big, fat, hairy, smelly balls! I fell in love with Cheyenne. I don't think I could handle the winter there but I found it breathtaking and a welcome change from the desert.
I had an interview today for another job. It went okay... I felt prepared and was able to answer all of the questions asked. If I don't get it, it's no biggie. I'll get my promotion changed to a permanent capacity if I don't get this other job.
