Well, me and my little girl caught some stomach bug yesterday. First it was me and I thought I'd just eaten something that gave me the terrible indigestion that us pg folks get regularly. I couldn't sleep Wednesday night so I stayed home. The wonderful hubby called in to help me with the kids. I took some Tylenol PM yesterday morning and slept for about 6 hours. I could hardly drink and didn't eat anything all day and eventuall started feeling some pretty strong Braxton Hick Contractions (practice contractions, not the real thing). I called the Doc's office and they wanted to see me. They checked me out and the Contractions weren't causing any dilation or anything. So I was feeling a little better by the end of the night and then the little one started puking that night. She was fine in the morning so we went about our day and the twins headed to school and I went to work. The school called and said she wasn't feeling well so I came home from work after only a couple of hours. I think she was faking it. She's been fine all day and night. Oh well, I'd rather be home than at work
!
So tomorrow we're having a b-day party for the kiddos. I went to buy a pinata today and some other things for the party. It's combined with another cousin's b-day (40-year old) and so they're taking care of the majority of the stuff. Thank GOD! I wanted to do simple Peter Piper Pizza bday. It's so much easier and costs so much less. Last b-day we had there was like $150, but last year we did a Park Party and spent probably 3 times as much for the party. It was the cousin's idea to combine them so they could surprise the 40-year-old, so they offered to handle the food, jumping castle, tables and chairs. I'm getting the cake, pinata, beverages. So it works for me!
I start the week off with more doctor appointments. My tummy is measuring 40 weeks at 36 weeks so the Dr. has ordered another ultrasound to make sure the baby isn't getting too big for me to deliver naturally. Especially after I've already had a C-Section with the twinkies.
Anyway, Long/Boring update. Laters.
