I love how everything in Lord of the Rings has mystical foreign names, except for the centre of all evil in middle earth - Mount Doom.

Mount Doom did have a fancy name.
It was Orodruin, which translates to "Fiery Mountain"
They also call it Amon Amarth, which translates to something along the lines of "Mounds of Destiny" or the much gayer sounding "Destiny Mountain"
