It's been a long time, I should'na left you, without a dope rhyme to step to...

Amazing, isn't it? What is, you ask? Well, it's amazing that now that I have no life and am sitting at home drinking coffee and watching 2 year old episodes of Maury Povitch (when I'm not at work), I spend less time on the computer than what I did when I was out partying every night with my mates. It doesn't really make sense. confused
A lot has happened in the past couple of weeks. I got my plane ticket, leaving on the 7th of June and arriving in Heathrow approx. 24 hours later. Still haven't sorted out my visa yet, and haven't told my boss. I am really hoping that there will be no probs with either of those.
I have decided to sell my beloved chopper, as well as my guitars and half of my wardrobe and jewellery collection. I'm having a 'Sell My Old Clothes I'm Off To Heaven" sale, invite only. Not really comfortable with the idea of having a whole bunch of strangers scope out the pad. I think it'll be fun, I'll make cupcakes and punch and use a 'pay as you see worthy' scheme. 'Cept for the bike, that's got a $500 price tag. It's in exellent condition and includes accessories. For that price it's a steal.
My dad bought me a George Foreman Fat Reducing grill yesterday. tongue
That officially makes him the most cool-as-fuck Dad in the world. Ha ha, I can't believe I am now a proud member of the GFG legion! It actually started out as a joke (hang on, it still is a bit of a joke!), Dad wanted to buy a BBQ and I was going on about why didn't he buy a George Foreman grill when the sales guy said "Oh yeah, we have those just over here!" Ha ha, so we succumbed and chose the Jumbo version in designer grey. I tell you though, it does make damn good food, the recipes kick arse and you can 'see the fat just drip away!!!'wink
My afore-mentioned boss had just been up on a surprise visit and my shop had the best rating its had since I have been managing! I even got a few compliments, which are very rare, so suffice to say Im pretty stoked about the whole situation. Kinda makes me feel a bit bummed too though. I have finally gotten to a stage where I have my head around the whole management deal, the store is in pretty good shape, and now that Im at the level Ive always wanted to be at, I up and leave. Oh well, I guess its nice to leave on a good note. And I certainly wont miss the shitty customers and lack of musical knowledge and taste that seems to plague the majority of Darwinites.
Anyway, thats about all the net-journal-geekiness I can handle for tonight. I hope everyone is well, and I will leave you with this thought
