Update.
I've had a horrible past two days, but everything's fine now. I got WAY too drunk on vodka Thurs. night, and my friend took me home. That part was fine. What wasn't fine was I was passed out cold and couldn't turn my security system off. The police show up to respond to the alarm, and find me passed out on the couch. Then they see a half-empty huge bottle of vodka and an empty bottle of melatonin sleep-aid (both my husband's--I didn't have either of those) on the counter, and decide that I've tried to kill myself. I was incoherent, so I remember them asking what I had taken that caused me to snooze through the ear-splitting alarm, but I guess I couldn't really give them an answer. So, it was off to the ER for miss_lady.
I woke up, still drunk, and didn't know where the fuck I was, and freaked out once I realized I was STRAPPED DOWN w/ tubes in me. I started fighting, trying to get up, thrashing around violently, trying to bite my way out of the straps, and the nurse didn't appreciate my badass attitude very much. I wanted the fuck out of there, but they said they had to keep me to run tests for drugs or anything else, and kept asking me if I was really depressed. I GOT TOO DRUNK. How many times did I have to say it? They also said I had been "choking", which I still don't quite understand. They finally picked up my husband from his job at Full Sail, and started questioning him about if I was suicidal. He stayed w/ me until the tests came back clear and we were free to go at 6:30am. I was badly dehydrated, so I guess it's good that they gave me IV fluids and potassium horsepills. My arms are a mess from all the bloodwork and IV, though. And the catheter didn't feel too great, either.
So. I'm fine. Not suicidal. No drugs in my system. Just got too wasted. Now, how the fuck am I going to pay this hospital bill?! I think this all was a little extreme.
Well, I guess I have a new Most Humbling Moment, huh? I debating sharing, but as you know I keep things pretty real. And besides, it may help one of you to remember to turn YOUR FUCKING HOUSE ALARM off if you're going to get wasted.
On a happier note, my beloved adopted uncle Sebsis will be here in a few hours from San Diego! I guess I should hurry and clean. It's been hospital-bed-work for the past two days, so hopefully he'll forgive the mess. If I'm not around for a day or two, I'm hanging with him learning how to beat people up during "friendly" hockey matches.
Have a good weekend. And stay out of the hospital. It sucks. Love, miss_lady

I do a really good Borat impersonation, but it doesn't travel so well on the intranets.
