Seeing Bettina's gorgeous new set is going to start my day off right! I love that classy lady. 
Anticipating the fun of working at the new spa tomorrow. I was supposed to start last Saturday, but then told them I'd start tomorrow instead. What a diva. I've been letting my friend who got hired to do facials and waxing there get a feel for the place and give me reports. I'm just so hesitant....but it's only 3 days a week and great money if I build up clientele. I guess what I'm afraid of is saying the wrong thing to co-workers like I always do. I'm sweet, but I kind of freak out and act irrationally if I feel I'm being disrespected. I know that I'm giving the sassy black hairdresser Mr. I've Been Doing Hair For 22 Years And I Lived In Europe (woo-hoo
) a massage tomorrow. I'm sure he will make me work. In return, I was told that I don't get commission since he's an employee, but we "trade out" instead. Ooohhh kaaay. It would be nice to be asked first, but hey, I need my hair did. And that bitch will be doing a cut AND color so the trade is even. Maybe I'll get those long bangs......definitely NOT the super-short Bettie Page ones that I used to have. I look back at pictures and say "what the fuck was I thinking?" 
So, it will be fun to work w/ my friend, I guess. She's already been in Fashion Violation a couple of times for not wearing the right thing. We're still trying to figure out what the right look is. I guess Rich and Conservative, and we are neither. I used to wear jeans and fun shirts at my last spa, and sometimes cha-cha heels if I felt sassy. Now it will be Banana Republic all the way. Boooorrrriinnngg.
It will be nice to have good, steady money again. I feel like I haven't done much lately. I've had my hangouts here and there, but I haven't gone anywhere really exciting. I guess I've just been trying to conserve the cash. Well, I did have sushi w/ my husband and mum-in-law last night, and that was lovely. I need to order all raw stuff so I don't have to share. I don't really like sharing my food.
Ow, sore from jogging 3 miles yesterday, but I feel good overall. I rewarded myself with some Haagen-Daz
