My goodness.
It's been a week since I've updated, for shame.
Thank you for all of your comments in my journal. They make me happy. I haven't been online this week due to my big calico Sheila (aka Shelbus Maximus as called by my best friend) jumping her big ass on my computer desk and knocking a full glass of water on the keyboard. That was the end of that! I realized I had this old piece of crap keyboard in my shed, which at least works for now.
Been doing my outcall massage thing, been spending time with my family, including my sweet mom who's doing just great. I saw her a few days ago and did reflexology on her feet which she liked alot, and my darling 17 year old cousin dropped by. The cuz and I were discussing all matters of piercing, and she told me the DIY way she had stretched her earlobes: with various sizes of straws. She looks like a mini-Bjork somehow, and is a cool alternative kid like I was but without hating everyone like I did.
I'm trying to cook more and stop fighting domestication so much . I made an Indian chicken dish last night, and my best friend/neighbor Keri walked over and had some with me. We're going to her company party this Saturday at a nice hotel in Orlando. I think it will be a dress-up-and-get-trashed sort of affair from what she says. I need to be good around the open bar . She and her boyfriend have reserved a hotel room there, but I don't really want to crash with them. It might be a little weird, ya know? I also like to always wake up in my own bed, not in a hotel room w/ my party dress still on looking like Courtney Love (yes, I know she's a member ). Not to mention what an old friend of mine used to call the Walk of Shame: when you wake up somewhere, hungover and still in your cha-cha heels, and you have to walk to your car in the blazing Florida morning sun with old people looking at you. I may have done that once or twice. Thank God for any nearby drive-thru Starbucks to ease the pain.
Well, I got a little high with Jiatsu last night and watched the "Raisins" episode of South Park. I think he wanted me to read some poetry but I was like "baaaaahh". I still feel a little foggy but I must go to the gym! I think I've gained 5 lbs which is not a big deal, but still. My mom reminds me to keep my weight where it's at, which I'm sure she says out of love (?) I think she got so used to seeing me as a skinny ballerina when I was younger. When my husband met me 10 years ago, he said "I thought you were really pretty, but I didn't like how I could see your ribs through your shirt." He wouldn't mind if I was even heavier, which is AWESOME! I'm not going to take advantage of that, but I love when guys think that way and appreciate a full-figured gal.
Well babies, that's it for now. Be happy and eat whatever the hell you want. Love ya.
