Quick update. Trying to be better about that.
Had a great weekend, rocked the house Sat. night with McG and 2 of my crazy girls. We had a blast, danced until we got kicked out. Why do they have to flip that damn light on at the end of the night? I watched Party Monster for the billioneth time w/ the girls until the wee hours.
Been doing alot of grillin' and chillin' around my house. I worked for a little while yesterday to cover someone else. Before you think I'm all generous, you should know that I made her agree to work on my birthday on the 23rd *ahem!* in return. I want to take about a week and a half off altogether. Looks like on short notice, the birthday plan will be 3 or 4 days in Key West. It's beautiful there, just a little brutal on my fair skin in the middle of summer. I'm already dreaming of snorkeling w/ exotic fish (which has included trying to get face-to-face with a big-ass barracuda because, well, I was trying to get a good underwater picture!). I want to see all my friends for a big birthday celebration in Orlando, because I am turning 30, after all!
I bought the new Morrissey CD today. So far, I think it's excellent. If you're overly-sensitive, it may not be for you, been if you've been a fan for a long time like I have, you can handle it. He looks so stunning on the cover
. I had some retail therapy at Target, too. I always head right for the shoes, and found 2 pairs totalling less than $25. And they're CUTE! Come on, you know I have good taste. The husband bought his 10th pair of Scooby boxers. Everyone's happy.
I saw something on Discovery Health channel about Vanishing Twins last night. Very interesting. There's just parts of it (an autopsy) that I'd like to get out of my head, though.
Big ups to thefuckingdaddy on the other side of the pond. He'll be home on the 10th, and if he's not too tired, he'll get dragged to the Burlesque show.
