Ok, so my friends and I watched the last Sex In the City last night, because it's kind of a big deal to us, and I was a little disappointed. Without going into my usual detail because I have not had my coffee yet, let's just say I was yelling at 2 of my friends for tearing up at the ending. Basically, old scoundrel boyfriend who never could commit to her (Carrie) before shows up in Paris to drag her back to New York once he hears she's with another man there. Things have not been going so good for wishy-washy Carrie, anyway, w/ the language barrier, boyfriend Alex not putting her before his artwork, stepping her Blahnik into Parsian doggy-doo, missing her friends, etc. BUT IT'S PARIS! GET OVER IT! So Big swoops in just as she's half-assed broken up w/ the Russian and she returns to NYC w/ him. I would have told both guys to fuck off, and stayed in Paris to find some fun Eurotrash boys to party with, but that's just me. Happy American ending with everyone back together and things working out perfectly. And my friends crying and saying "that's sooo sweet!" over bong hits. I guess I'm just too cynical....but I'd like to think just a realist, who never expected a fairly-tale for my own life, but I've ended up very happy and content anyway.
So, it's just a show, and I know alot of people on here don't even watch TV, but it's a good social commentary on how American women think. At least how fictitional privileged New York women think.
Back to the reality of the start of a busy work week, my beat up car I haven't taken good care of, the litterbox that needs to be changed before I gag, not enough sleep or working out, my taxes that I will owe......but I love my life.

Oh yeah. howdy Maam'
The thoughts of American women are of no use to me.
This sounds like something Emile M. Cioran would say, he's pretty famous for saying things like Paradise was unendurable... and Man is unacceptable..
Bye Everybody!
