My mom is here visiting me (yay). It takes a lot of cleaning to get things ready for my mom but I love her visiting.
We went out for dinner to our favourite restaurant. I almost never go out to eat so it is special when my mom takes me out. And we always get a litre (bigger than a regular wine bottle for my American friends) of our favourite white wine.
It was a new young server tonight who I think was a bit frazzled as the restaurant was super busy.
mom: We will have a litre of the Cabernet Sauvignon
server: The whole litre?
mom: Well it is Friday night
server: Party on
